Last month, we found 7 recipes using marmalade and brought them to your screens. We’re back again this month with some delicious kitchen-spiration for Britain’s most favourite summer preserve, strawberry jam.
Remember, not all strawberry jam is created equal. Our Gold Medal Awarded strawberry, apple and vanilla jam is something special, and each of the following recipes are a scrumptious way to make the most of it..
Strawberrry Jam Roll Trifle
This recipe from The Ever Expanding Kitchen has it all. Is there anything better than piped whipped cream? Chocolate covered strawberries, perhaps? There’s a little legwork involved so if you’ve no patience with baking, perhaps stick to the lady fingers soaked in brandy approach to trifle and have done with it.
We found these sticky, jammy, sugary treats over on The Little Loaf where you can find step by step instructions on frying doughnuts – a tricky business!
Jammie Daisy Dodgers
Karen of Lavender and Lovage makes her homemade jammie dodgers with raspberry jam, but we think they’d be just perfect with strawberry, apple and vanilla, don’t you?
They look so pretty dusted with icing sugar, they’d be fit for afternoon tea with The Queen! (Or at least your in-laws).
Strawberries & Cream Cupcakes
Bearded Bakery’s cupcake recipe is another sugar-dusted triumph your entire family is bound to adore, especially the Wimbledon fans. As with all of Mike’s gorgeous bakes, the recipe for these strawberry cupcakes is easy as pie to follow.
Strawberry Swiss Roll
There are hundreds of swiss roll recipes out there, but this one from food blogger Hunger Hunger is quite something. It reminds us of Jordan’s famous kawaii swiss roll from the last series of GBBO!
Strawberry Jam Muffins
Lindsay over at Pinch of Yum never fails to get our cravings going, and these strawberry jam muffins look just mouthwatering!
If you’re not interested in the faff of making your own doughnuts, these just might be the next best thing..
Balsamic Strawberry & Chicken Pizza
OK, this recipe from Kevin at Closet Kitchen is a little bit out there, but we are officially putting it on our food bucket list.
Don’t forget to pop our jam on your shopping list so that you can get creative with strawberries in your kitchen too!
